Delivery

For UK customers, orders need to be placed through a registered Dispensing Optician.  Orders received in the UK before 2pm will be posted the same day using a first glass signed for service through Royal Mail.  If orders are received over the weekend or on Bank Holidays then parcels will shipped the next working day. Once posted the delivery times are set out by Royal Mail.

 

UK First class signed for serice is £5.70.  Royal Mail aims for 1-3 working days delivery service.

 

Express Shipping is £8.99 is only offered throughout the UK on orders placed before 1pm.  This is available Monday-Friday. The express service is guaranteed to arrive the next day in the UK to a registered optician (this excludes a Saturday delivery, orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday). If an order is made on a weekend or a bank holiday then the products will not be sent out until the next working day

 

European Signed on delivery £10.99 and aims for 5-10 working days delivery service.The parcel requires a signature upon receipt but is not fully trackable.    

 

International Signed for Service can be selected for countries outside Europe £15.99 and includes incsurance.  Please email if you have any questions. A signature is required upon receipt but this service is not fully trackable.

The delivery charge is only applied once per order.  Prices are stated in pounds sterling and will be applied at the checkout.

 

Payment for goods must be recieved before orders can be posted.

Returns and Refunds

You can return frames to us within 7 working days for a full refund and complies with the Distance Selling Laws.  Goods must be returned at the customers expense and be in original packing with all component parts.  

 

We recommend that you obtain proof of purchase or use a signed for delivery.  All items are returned at the senders own risk.

 

Refunds will be made within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods via Paypal either to your credit card or PayPal account.  This refund will include sales taxes for all EU counties.  

 

 

Initial delivery costs will be reimbursed providing that the unwanted frame is returned within 7 days.

Warranty

Frames are guaranted against manufacturing defects however the warranty does not extend to cover wear and tear and/or the use of inappropiate cleaning solutions (alcohol/solvent based).

 

 In the unlikely event you believe your frame is faulty please email us at info@tomatoglassesuk.com and please provide the following:

1) a description of the fault

2) a photo of the fault

3) date and place of purchase

3) proof of purchase eg Paypal confirmation of payment, a receipt, invoice or bank statement or credit card statement.

 

Please include your full name and address.  We can not offer a replacement without proof of purchase.  

 

 

If you would like a refund instead of a replacement then please send us the product and the proof of purchase within 30 days of purchase.  Any frame which you believe to be faulty due to a manufacturing fault after 30 days of purchase is eligible only for a replacment frame.

 

 

Frames in this instance must be sent back to us via recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibily for items whch are lost in the post.  We will then carry out an assessment of the frame and respond within 5-7 days.  If the fault is due to a manufacturing fault then we will issue a full refund, via Paypal.
